Wow what a fantastic year! This year 2005 has come to a close so fast. It started out with performances in Thailand and took on a worldwind course. There were live performances at jazz clubs as well as concerts and privite parties. I went to America and all over Japan. From as far north as Niigata　Prefecture to as far south as Okinawa. I want to take time to thank my family and all of my friends in Japan and abroad. Thanks a million for being there for me. I would like to thank all of the live house owners and staff for being so kind to my musicians and myself. And last but not least the KKR Hotel and staff. You did a marvelous job to present a first class "Special Christmas Night"and I am honoured to have been the entertainment for such a grand event.
Once again thank a million times and I look forward to seeing you next year.

２００５年はあっと言う間に過ぎてしまいましたが、本当に素晴ら しい一年でありました。２００５年はタイランドでのお仕事から始まり、母国アメリ カ、日本の南は沖縄〜新潟まで、ライブハウス・コンサート・イベントなどたくさんの経験をさせていただきました。　アメリカにいるファミ リーを是非一度、日本へ連れて来たいと思います。各地のスタッフの皆様・ミュージ シャン方へ、ご親切にして頂いた事を本当に嬉しく思います。そして２００５年の終わりに、大阪・KKR・HOTELでの最高のクリス マスジャズナイトになり、素晴らしい一年の最後になりました。
２００６年が皆様に素晴らしい１年でありますように、そして来年 も各地のライブハウス、ショー、イベントにて皆様にお会いできます事を心から楽しみにしております。

２００５年アメリカ合衆国総領事館にて、ハリケーン・カトリーナの被災者への支援活動への感謝状をアメリカ総領事より頂きました。
この日はー商店街ﾑ国運動の中で、ハリケーン・カトリーナ被災者への支援活動に取り組んだハービーの地元天神橋筋商店街の役員田中理事長、
川上事業部長、_商店街ﾑ国運動を担当している、
大阪市の方々と総領事を尋ねて、 アメリカ総領事館を訪れました。
Thanks for letting me be allowed to perform at such a great event. One that was raising funds for the people that were so devistated by the largest storm n American History. Thanks for the Osaka Commerce Dept. and The Temma shopping street for making this happen.

２００５年１０月２３日、アメリカ・ニューオーリンズを襲った未曾有のハリケーンの被災者への支援としてこの様な素晴らしいイベントに参加させていただきまして、本当に有難うございました。
被災者の方へミュージックを通じて何か出来ないものか、との思いから今回のイベントに、参加させて頂きました。
改めて、大阪市商業振興企画の皆様、天神橋筋商店街の皆様へお礼申し上げます。

以来、いろんな機会をとらえて天神橋筋のイベントに参加してもらっている。 最近は少しづつ、ファンも増えてきたようだ。 “歴史のある街で歴史のあるジャズ”が、彼の歌声で浸透させていくのも、私の一つの楽しみでもある。

This is just a few words to express my sincere thanks to you for saying such nice things about me. I feel honored to have such a wonderful friend that shares some of the same princples as I do. First of all the Temma shopping street witch is the the longest shopping street in Japan has a rich historical history about it. Also as a jazz singer I know the importance of this form of music and how the Japanese people enbrace American jazz music. Thanks Doi-san for being my friend and the great work you always do to uplift the great city of Osaka.
